easy A, just come to class (or have someone else give attendance code) and do the group projectsGAME1110 2025-12-13 19:33:52 +0000 UTC
Brandon's class was incredibly disorganized and held on Discord, due dates weren't specified, conversations always turned into shallow political rants, discussions were very one-sided. Students still didn't know game design basics by the end of the semester as there was never a course plan. Take someone else if you're passionate about making games!GAME2500 2021-09-14 03:10:02 +0000 UTC
So far, the easiest professor and class I have taken at Northeastern. We are only graded on group projects and attedance, but he does not post the group projects grades on canvas. We do not know our grade until it is final, however this class is hard to fail. You cannot fail a project unless you just never come to class and do not do it.GAME1110 2025-04-28 21:35:02 +0000 UTC
Such a caring professor, checking everyone at the beginning of the class. In his class, you are free to share anything you want to talk about related to games. He is also very enthusiastic about games, and he is very knowledgeable, even about some very small game industries he knows their histories very well. It is also a very chill and fun class.GAME1110 2023-11-27 19:58:43 +0000 UTC
If you enjoy talking about video games, as well as current news and society, you will probably like this class. Brandon is a great professor and you will learn a lot IF you show up, pay attention, and participate. You will get nothing out of this class if you don't participate, but you will get a lot of out this class if you do. Long Live Jet WengaGAME1110 2022-04-25 22:43:49 +0000 UTC
Like others have said, Brandon does talk a lot about politics. Admittedly this may be a downside if you consider yourself on the right side of the political spectrum. If you don't mind that, Brandon has a blast of a class that can be funny, weird, and ridiculous all at once. Very chill class, and generally a very easy A.GAME1110 2021-12-11 02:00:33 +0000 UTC
Awesome professor who cares about us, and just wants us to have fun, we play and make games in class. Always an accessible person, always courteous and only cares that we do well. However, Brandon is VERY politically biased, which may or may not be bad depending on who you are. If you disagree, don't speak up, it's clear he hates conservativesGAME1110 2020-10-19 16:52:56 +0000 UTC
Class is called "Games and Society" but it's less game, and more society. Definitely the type of person to use games as a vehicle for political agenda, given how many rants in the class are all about politics rather that other aspects of society. TA is snide as hell, too. If you actually like games, stay away.GAME1110 2020-01-11 17:06:02 +0000 UTC
Brandon is the best professor I've ever met. He looks just like a college student, super hot and hilarious too. The class is kind of easy, just put effort into the essays, show up to class, and pay attention. He often brings games to class and let us play. Super accessible outside of class too. Will take his class every semester if I can.GAME1110 2017-04-18 18:33:35 +0000 UTC
