I had this class at 8am on a Friday and wanted to wake up to go to it. She was an amazing teacher who cares so much for her class. This is no walk in the park though, the class will force you to work, though will be substantially easier if you had previous experience with AP stats or IB. Taking this in the summer was tough but manageable with discipline. Review slides and practice problems daily or it will catch up. She cold calls in class so come prepared. I had to withdraw from the course because I learned I'm not a great test taker, but as for Spencer, she is overall very great. She has a great ability to describe and visualize how stats work. She cares very deeply about her students and their performance. You have to pay attention and attend lectures in order to do well. She's a nice person, but her class is very tough and you need to put in many hours outside of the classroom. I found myself sacrificing grades in other classes just to get a decent grade on exams. She is a great person but her class is hard unless you have countless hours to put into the class or you are already familiar with stats. The math isn't hard, it's the conceptual stuff that she is extremely nitpicky with on tests yet she glosses over that when she is teaching you in class.
