I had a good time taking biochem with Professor Thoidis. She spend a lot of effort in designing the course materials to make sure we understood the concepts, and made the assignments based on what we covered. I warn you. DO NOT take any class with this professor. She is so disorganized, makes you feel bad for not knowing something, and genuinely does not care about helping her students. Excellent professor. Biochemistry is a great course but be prepared to read. Each class covers two chapters on average. The professor did a great job of telling class what to focus on. This professor is excellent. I learned so much in her class. Biochemistry can be a difficult subject but Prof Thoidis is able to present it in a very manageable way, so that it is easier to learn.
