The first midterm is in a week and I still don't know what he was trying to "teach" in week one. He stands at the board and writes equations for an hour with no explanation of how to use them. Avoid this professor. His lectures involve him writing on the board for hours with little class interaction. Assigns very long HW's every week that are barely worth part of your grade. Midterm and Final are impossible and teacher does nothing to prepare you except tells you to "read the book" . Great Professor. Not sure why he has so many bad reviews, but, for my class, he was a good lecturer, graded fairly, and cared about students. There were 2 midterms that were open book, and 1 final that was open book take home. The lab manual is horrendous, but the TA was helpful. Homeworks do not prepare you AT ALL for exams. Exams arent on topics we covered, majority of class fails. Gets upset when you ask him questions outside of lecture time. Would not take again, avoid 100%EECE2530 2022-02-17 21:55:38 +0000 UTC
Very dry lectures that consist of him standing at a board and writing down equations. Calls exams easy and then fails the majority of the class. Skips steps as if they were obvious and then wonders why students don't understand the concept.
