Jay is knowledgeable but not insightful. We may gain knowledge from texts or online lectures, yet we seek insight in onsite courses. In the end, insights remain.DGM6122 2014-07-16 11:11:31 +0000 UTC
Really fun class and Jay is really cool guy. He is in the business, so he knows a good amount about game design. Had fun and insightful discussions in class. Some of the readings are interesting and there's a writing assignment every week. Not too hard, but do your work. He's really helpful and just wants you to do well.GAMU110 2009-04-27 03:19:39 +0000 UTC
Jay is probably the most understanding teacher at Northeastern. He really goes out of his way to make sure you learn the material and also to guide you along, and he's also practically a media encyclopedia.MMS 2006-01-09 09:25:22 +0000 UTC
