I went in curious about journalism and left not interested, it had nothing to do with her just the content. I found this class to be a lot harder than I had been lead on, I just didn't have a lot of time, so don't take this if you have a busy schedule. She is an amazing professor who made my experience taking the course very enjoyable. She fostered class discussions and was always available when needed for input or clarification. I love Professor Sharp! She's really nice and caring. Her assignments and quizzes are pretty easy- 10 journals, 5 quizzes, a group project and 2 essays. This is such a great class overall. Graded by 4, 750 word papers,10, 150 word "journals," and participation. You get what you put into it, if you read the news and participate a little you'll learn a ton. Prof. Sharp is understanding about absences and lates. No final exam, project instead. Discussion based class, genuinely interesting and fun. Makes it clear she cares about her students and comes across as a friend while still maintaining respect.
