Professor Ivy is experienced in her field and enjoys teaching the subject. She cold calls often, but it forces you to pay extra attention in class. She may be intimidating at the beginning, but she's actually a pretty nice and funny person. She is a tough grader, and her tests are solely based off readings, so effort must be put in. No final exam.INTB1203 2025-12-17 06:29:52 +0000 UTC

Very caring and sweet, wants everyone to succeed BUT group project was STRESSFUL. Spans across whole semester, much more extensive than other classes'. Instructions/expectations not always clear, but was usually understanding about it. LOTS of reading, tests were medium difficulty, participation matters, harsh grader (doesn't give 100s easily).ITNB1203 2023-12-19 01:31:15 +0000 UTC
You are required to take this class as a Sr business student. Ivy has bad English speaking abilities but is a sweet person. There are like 1-2 other profs I would take before her but shes a solid number 3STRT4501 2020-05-04 15:12:17 +0000 UTC
- Julia is perfect! She makes the class very interactive especially the group assignments when the students need to make a presentation during each class. This has developed my skills in public speaking and I have learnt to think on my feet. The case studies and quizzes were very helpful. Julia made sure we read the text and applied the conceptsLDR6140 2019-08-14 17:27:08 +0000 UTC
Tough grader with vague grading metrics. Grades seem arbitrary and you will get little feedback.LDR6135 2018-12-20 16:10:27 +0000 UTC
Prof Ivy knows what she is doing and she is very successful in her career. She cold calls alot and is a pretty tough grader but overall she made class somewhat enjoyable. I think her lectures were kind of confusing and the tests were solely based on the textbook. Overall, solid professor that care about her strudents and no drama.INTB1203 2025-12-16 01:22:54 +0000 UTC
I was honestly surprised by how much I learned - the professor opened the class saying this was supposed to be an introductory level course for part timers but as one of the full timers that took this at the very end of our program, I still found it challenging and very very helpful. Very fun too! Would love a bigger class size and honestly wish itINTB6200 2019-07-16 12:35:52 +0000 UTC
Overall a hard class. Ivy will cold call you and emphzsizes participation. A good lady and a good teacher who wants students to suceed but is definitely hard to get an A or A-. Tough graderITNB1203 2021-12-20 20:19:47 +0000 UTC
The professor was enthusiastic and brought considerable knowledge and experience to her role. She had valuable insights to offer students and was an effective communicator, checking in with students and making sure everyone was on the same page. She was invested in students' learning and genuinely worked to help students' succeed in the course andSTRT4501 2019-07-31 14:53:30 +0000 UTC
She's the best teacher that I have taken so far. But, this is not show up and pass class. You can definitely develop some skills in her classes. I am taking LDR6150. Her classes involve a lot of reading and a lot of homework. Also, she gives quiz before her classes, not too difficult just to ensure that students read the material. Lots of homeworkLDR6135 2016-05-08 11:34:15 +0000 UTC
Ivy is good, she is very accomplished and is a good professor she definitely knows her stuff. However, she cold calls a good amount and values participation a lot. Very hard to get an A in her class, she rarely gives a 90+ on assignments. Caring person and not scary, just come to class prepared to talk a little. Not having final exam was great too.INTB1203 2025-12-14 04:00:52 +0000 UTC
I believe the Instructor was the strength of the course, very well prepared and lectured enhanced the experience.INTB6200 2019-03-29 21:55:05 +0000 UTC
This class is difficult, as it should be for a capstone class. If you want an easy A, don't take this class. If you want to walk out of college with a real project that matters, take this class. Prof. Ivy is great and spends time on her students.STRT4501 2019-05-07 18:13:26 +0000 UTC
Liked her a lot: participation matters, a lot of readings, and a heavy group project (no final tho). The lecture was fascinating, but get ready to talk. 2 Case studies you choose from, and weekly chapter notes. Hated my team in the group project, so get ready to suffer a bit. Otherwise, lovely teacher. Sent case to competition and referral letter.INTB1203 2025-12-12 23:36:02 +0000 UTC
