She's a super sweet lady. If it's not your interest, the lecture will be torture it's so boring. 85% is based on 3 tests, do not expect an easy A, you'll have to memorize a lot in order for you to get a good grade in her tests, she posts reviews that you need to study though, so if you don't mind memorizing, it's recommended for you.ART1140 2015-04-15 19:15:37 +0000 UTC
Attendance is part of the grade, but you can pretty much just sit on your laptop the whole time and it won't matter. She gives reviews sessions for the tests which I HIGHLY recommend going to because she basically tells you exactly what'll be on the test and all you need to do is memorize it, which is not hard at all. Yeah K. Pike is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about her field. I don't know if anyone noticed but we're all referring to KAREN pike not Glenn. Great professor, knowledgable in her field, very passionate about art. Easy and interesting class. Karen is SUCH a sweet lady. Very passionate about art, loves what she does. Her study guides for the tests are basically the whole test. Everything is memorization and couldn't be more straightforward. Took this class for an easy A and it was just what I expected. Kind of interesting too even though I could care less about art.
