I did not expect to have to go to so many lectures for an elective but if I didn't I wouldn't know what to write in my weekly reflections. She is very knowledgeable is very opinionated but you have to care about the class to pass this course.HIST2258 2025-03-27 19:45:24 +0000 UTC
Extremely extremely knowledgable in the subject. Decent amount of work and the tests are difficult, but Laurel is there to help you and will answer any questions you have in detail. You certainly have to work hard, but if you do she will reward you for it with fair grading and plenty of in depth knowledge.JRNL3550 2023-04-22 21:47:44 +0000 UTC
She is a nice person, but incredibly hard grader and unclear about her expectations. Unless you really want to be a journalism major or minor I would not recommend her class.JRNL1101 2020-10-30 16:16:54 +0000 UTC
Don't take this professor. Nice person but extremely hard class.JRNL3550 2021-02-09 21:19:40 +0000 UTC
Weekly quizzes - do not know a single person in my class that passed them. She is very demanding. VERY harsh grader. Always has comments for everything. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities though so take advantage of that. And she is nice, and comprehensive as well. If you miss class you're basically screwed.JRNL1101 2020-01-15 20:40:36 +0000 UTC
