Choose any other advisor. She gives essays and actually grades them, even tho its just advising class. So much workload for a fake class, more work then some of my actual classes. Attendance is brutal, if you miss 1 class its -5% and 2 classes you fail the class. Dont turn in assignments late and show up every class and you can get an A.EESC2000 2025-11-24 20:24:13 +0000 UTC

For a teacher who's meant to teach you how to apply for and get a job, you would think that a firm grasp on the English language would be a major requirement. NEU seems to have skimmed over this requirement when hiring Lam to teach this class. Charlotte takes her job seriously and is very responsive to emails. The weekly in-class meetings are not always necessary though. The co-op panel and the session on how to use LinkedIn were useful, but class time in general does not always feel very productive or well spent.
