Learned nothing in this class. Grading is completely arbitrary and he taught us nothing of value. Terrible class to take at 8am.STRT4501 2022-06-30 23:36:19 +0000 UTC
Hard grader, he definitely doesn't tolerate slackers, especially for graduate students. Heavy amounts of dry reading, but he makes class engaging at least. He has a TON of experience and is a great connection to have, not to mention he does a solid job making class interesting.STRAT 2022-03-08 23:21:09 +0000 UTC
At this particular point in time, my suspicion is that I am exactly right that taking Todd's class is a high yield, low risk investment. Come on, guys! Say some more! Plus two!STRT6208 2011-04-13 11:51:16 +0000 UTC
Worst professor at Northeastern. The final exam's mean is 88, and the highest grade is 91. He didn't fairly evaluate our work at all. You don't get for the effort you put in. Professor disguised he cared about students, but feedback and grade distribution told all!STRT4501 2022-05-12 02:42:23 +0000 UTC
Todd is a great professor who is passionate about strategy. The class is rarely boring and he usually works a group activity into each lecture to break up the monotony. He is a genuinely nice guy that wants to help you and wants you to succeed. Definitely one of the best professors I have had at Northeastern, would recommend.STRAT 2014-03-25 20:45:10 +0000 UTC
Grading is inconsistent and based solely on his opinion. His comments on assignments are not clear so it is very difficult to improve. Information is very dry and not applicable to the real world. Do not recommend you take this class. Probably the worst course I have taken at Northeastern.STRT4501 2022-05-09 23:25:32 +0000 UTC
Useless Professor. Useless class. 60% of the overall grade is not determined by the time of the last class. Arbitrary grader. Takes 2 weeks to provide 6 words of non-actionable "feedback". Grading is entirely subjective. You learn nothing of value in this class, it's all outdated info. He is an accounting professor who has no background in strategySTRT4501 2022-05-09 23:19:39 +0000 UTC
Todd is a very engaging professor who knows a lot about the material. However, it is almost impossible to get an A. Participation is graded harshly even if you go to class and participate. In addition, you are only graded on a few things which are very difficult to do well on.STRT4501 2022-05-09 21:45:48 +0000 UTC
Great professor who's enthusiastic about the course and makes the class fun and engaging. He really knows his stuff and helps you understand the concepts in a way that's not intimidating or finance-heavy. Definitely recommend for anyone taking strategy, he's super nice and a great professor overall.STRT4501 2019-04-25 13:21:29 +0000 UTC
Professor Alessandri taught Strategy in Action incredibly effectively. He displayed an enthusiasm for strategic analysis and planning that I did not see in any other professor in my four years at Northeastern. I learned a lot in this class, and would recommend him to anyone taking the course.STRT4501 2011-05-16 18:51:45 +0000 UTC
Very effective teaching style. He picks interesting cases and has engaging lectures. It's very clear that he really wants his students to learn and is very committed to that. I highly recommend him to anyone taking this course.STRT4501 2009-11-30 12:58:59 +0000 UTC
