She is a nice lady, but her lectures can become a bit boring, and sometimes it feels like what she's saying isn't important. She gives bonus points for attendance and participation which is nice. Her grading is pretty harsh. The textbook is almost completely useless. Tests are tough and fast.BIOE2355 2024-12-28 23:07:57 +0000 UTC
Edwards was a great professor. Lectures are based directly off the textbook and the slides were very comprehensive. She is super nice and understanding towards students and holds review sessions in class before exams and on Zoom with office hours. Exams are hard, but you should be well prepared if you take notes in class and make a good cheat sheetBIOE2355 2024-10-28 20:14:14 +0000 UTC
Overall, Prof. Edwards was great. The lecture slides are well done, with lots of pictures, and they closely follow the textbook readings. Homeworks are generally very helpful for understanding the content. Tests are intentionally very difficult, but the grades are curved at the end. Overall, great professor, great class.BIOE2355 2024-06-28 01:43:22 +0000 UTC
Edwards is one of my favorite professors. I wish more professors were like her. She knows QP is difficult and she does her best to help everyone and take feedback on her lecturing. She listens and clearly cares about her students and is also definitely passionate about the course content. 10/10 would recommend her for QP.BIOE2355 2021-12-19 19:25:09 +0000 UTC
Edwards is an amazing professor. QP is VERY difficult, and for the most part she makes it straightforward. She is willing to meet you halfway as long as you show up and put in the effort. Classes are roughly 2/3 lecture, 1/3 in class practice. The tests are difficult because she's really testing you on application, but the curve is amazing.BIOE2355 2021-12-17 04:58:23 +0000 UTC
She's a good professor but tends to rush through lectures and spends the second half of the class on practice problems.BIOE2355 2021-11-30 16:24:01 +0000 UTC
QP is a notoriously hard course in the BioE curriculum, but Edwards made it really interesting and not too terrible. To be honest, I never read the textbook chapters until before the exams. The lectures and example problems in class are good prep for the exams. She cares about our feedback, will implement changes suggested by studentsBIOE2355 2020-06-16 22:25:13 +0000 UTC
She is a really good professor for QP. Reading the textbook is a must, but she'll meet you once you've gone that far. She tells you exactly what she's looking for you to know and allows for info sheets on tests. Overall really cares people know the material and is willing to change things around if a lot of people ask/ need it.BIOE2355 2019-11-26 14:46:41 +0000 UTC
