This course is intense and the class is lecture heavy. Prof. Bhanot includes lots of techniques to break the monotony of lectures. I really learnt a lot from the research proposal component of the course from her. I hope she starts a new class on writing research proposals. She always answers every question in class or out of class or by email with a smile and a lot of enthusiasm. The course is very material heavy but Dr. Bhanot tries to keep the class actively involved and provides lots of opportunities to reflect and discuss during the lecture. She provides great current and background informational resources apart from the lecture materials which are very helpful and important.
