Cuenca is the sweetest professor I've ever had. He is so genuinely passionate about what he teaches and is extremely knowledgeable on levels past what is expected. He wants only the best for his students and is supportive by nature. My class loved him so much that we planned a dinner for him at the end of the semester altogether! He's lovely. Really nice man who genuinely cares about his students. I took Latin American Film with him. He assigns really interesting films to watch, and offers great discussion questions that make analyzing the movies fun and informative. He's really optimistic and funny. I love this professor. He is one of the best lecturers and teachers I have ever had. The passion he has for the spanish language and language in general is unmatched. He walks through very interesting linguistic examples. His homework, tests, and projects are all very interesting but still easy to get a good grade on. Dr. Cuenca is an amazing professor! He's knowledgeable, kind, and truly cares about his students. I've studied Spanish since 3rd grade, and his grammar teaching is the most effective I've experienced. He teaches in such an original, passionate, and inspirational way and is excited to help every student do the best they can. Profe Cuenca is the best! He taught me Spanish in a way that I had never thought of before. He essentially goes back and teaches you everything you have learned in Spanish before, and then explains it a million times better. Prof. Cuenca is the kindest professor I have ever had. He really wants you to succeed. If you aren't the best at Spanish and want to get better, he gives you all the resources to do so. An AMAZING professor! He is so understanding/kind/patient especially in the online environment. Assigns weekly modules that seem like a lot of work but aren't really that bad.
