Profe Tania was clear on instructions. The class was pretty work heavy at first, but once we said it was too much work, she reduced it. She was very clear that we should expect to spend 8-10 hours per week outside of class on Spanish. She gave extra credit and quizzes/ projects were easy, but definitely study. Professor Muino was very caring and understanding when I took her class. I have dyslexia and had absolutely no previous spanish experience, so naturally it was very difficult for me. You definitely need a background in Spanish for this class as it is intermediate. The class goes by pretty fast with activities and you do need to pay attention. She is very willing to help, and makes an effort to give assistance wherever it is needed. The class isn't too hard if you pay attention in class and do the homeworks. Mandatory attendance is due to the department rules, not hers, so don't hold it against her. Takes about a week to get grades back to you.
