Great Computers & Society professor. She's an old-school hacker with a sociology focus, and is probably more up to date on the internet than I am, both in social and technical terms. Most boring yet easiest class I have taken. Going to class is useless, she just talks about random things related to material but not the material. Tests are based on the reading not the class. Lots of reading to do. She doesn't check it, but you need to know it for essays and tests. Her lectures are boring, and aren't neccessary for doing well on tests/ essays, which makes getting through class hard. She takes attendance. This class the bomb diggity if you need to take care of those pesky honors/core reqs. Take it and you wont regret it. A laptop is a must. Class has no bearing on any work, but it is interesting sometimes. I could pass without attending a single class i think.
