I took him for Hist of Technology as well and would recommend him for 2211 to anyone, Prof. Purinton teaches it very enthusiastically and makes it very manageable. Really chill professor, has interesting lectures, and its really clear what you need to study for in advance of the module quizzes. Papers are easy and straightforward as well, TA grades nicely. One of the best professors I have ever had. He has a genuinely contagious enthusiasm about the material, which makes the whole class a million times better. He is a great lecturer who is very engaging and passionate. Lots of reading between the textbook and required books, which makes the class a lot of busy work, but not too difficult.
