I loved Marisol! She was nice and funny in class and cared a lot about her students. Unless you really try, it's hard to fail (or even get below a B).LNSU301 2019-07-28 12:13:23 +0000 UTC
Super helpful and cares about the success of her students!SP4 2016-12-19 20:48:42 +0000 UTC
Great teacher who keeps class interesting. She cares about her students and goes out of her way to connect with us. Always helpful and supportive in class. Caters things to what the class is struggling with. She can be a little disorganized about getting papers back though. She grades papers critically but you have an opportunity to revise!SP4ANDSP21 2014-06-17 15:58:02 +0000 UTC
She is one of my favorite professors. She is so understanding and grades more than fairly. I actually took another spanish class just because i saw that she was the teacher.SPSECT 2007-07-10 16:00:22 +0000 UTC

interesting, engaging, uses her spanish background to connect to students, tests/assignments fairly graded.LNSU501 2007-04-02 19:57:31 +0000 UTC
Professor Fernandez-Garcia is by far the best Spanish professor I have had at Northeastern! She is extremely enthusiastic and wants to see all of her students succeed. Grades are based on written compositions and 3 tests, and you get the topics beforehand. AMAZING teacher, she even convinced me to change my major to Spanish.LNS302 2006-12-14 13:16:06 +0000 UTC
You should read but she goes over everything in class for Spanish Culture and her exams were easy. Be careful with presentations because she might be looking for a little more, and won't say so. For Con&Comp2, do your homework and read. Her exams and grading there are pretty fair, but take some studying. She's helpful and I ejoyed her classes.LNSU150 2006-10-18 23:10:30 +0000 UTC
great professor. very nice and very enthusiastic about spain and teaching about it. her grading has a european style about it, so it won't just automatically be an A with her classes, but they're not hard.SPANISH 2006-04-01 20:47:05 +0000 UTC
Professor Fernandez is very friendly, nice, helpful, and concerned about her students. The class is time-consuming, but I think that I got a lot of out of it. She grades fairly leniently on the compositions, and her tests are very fair.LNSU302 2004-12-19 20:49:35 +0000 UTC
She is a great teacher and always willing to help. I recommend to take any class she teaches.LNSU670 2004-04-08 22:14:03 +0000 UTC
I loved being at her class. She had lot of her own hispanic background to share during class. I contacted her for a recommendation after months after completing the course, she still remembered me and was gladly to help me out.SPANISH1 2004-04-08 19:40:29 +0000 UTC
Absolutly Terrible! After 5 years of spanish I entered her class and was never more confused. Completely unwilling to help, ended up dropping the class and switching to French she was so terrible.LNSU301 2006-02-18 02:12:29 +0000 UTC
Really nice and loves to teach. she is really enthusiastic and really wants her students to learn. it's pretty easy to get an A in the class, you just have to prepare for the in-class stuff beforehand. I would definitely love to have her as a teacher againLNS302 2006-12-04 12:28:24 +0000 UTC
Among the very worst professors ever! Repugnant personality. Inferiority complex. Difficult to talk to and very unclear.SPANISH 2004-02-27 14:00:00 +0000 UTC
