definately one of the worst classes i have taken at northeastern he is a nervous balding nerd who should not be teaching a class on communication he should be taking one. none of his colleagues even know him. the tests are too hard for a class of its nature and all the work done is alot of b.s. he tries to be funny but hes not he sucks avoid him.PMDU200 2006-08-19 01:24:12 +0000 UTC
Don't need to go to class. Lecture material has nothing to do with what he tests you on. Communications class with little elements of communication. Lots of old theories and acronyms to memorize. Rickles is awesome. I barely passed his communications class but I still think he is one of the best professors I've met here. A year later he still remembers my buddies and I and we chat whenever we see him on campus. The tests are very hard but between the paper and lab you should do fine even with poor exam scores. This guys is an insecure. He trys to make you think he is cutting you all these breaks when in reality he's just trying to get your approval to stimulate his ego. He is a big baby! There's nothing more annoying than when he talks to you using his "active listening". No one ever speaks like that. Don't be fooled by what his coercion.
