Honestly, one of the worst professors in the world. He doesn't understand that students are learning this material for the first time-so when we're confused, because there's so much to know, he mocks. He answers questions as if you're stupid for asking, and he doesn't even make an attempt to try to ensure students grasp the material. Avoid him.PHSC4340 2016-09-16 09:13:13 +0000 UTC
Overall, the powerpoint slides were too wordy and the class lectures were not that clear. This made pharmacology harder than it was supposed to be. Even if you study, you will not be guaranteed an A in his portion. Quizzes are "fairly" straight-forward.PHSC4501 2015-12-29 08:59:23 +0000 UTC
He is very knowledgeable but sometimes has a hard time realizing that students are learning the material for the first time. He is definitely approachable and wants his students to learn and understand the material. His slides are very wordy but most likely due to the fact he wants us to know everything. Overall, nice professor. Can't complain.PHSC4502 2015-08-14 19:23:52 +0000 UTC
Very knowledgeable about his subject, but tends to present information too much too fast. Always seems confused and annoyed by questions which makes students afraid to ask. Very very intense, but only taught half of the classPSC340 2009-01-02 10:14:31 +0000 UTC
He's possibly the worst professor i have encountered. He talks a mile a minute, keeps you after class, his exam questions are out of control. Everytime i think i'm finally finished with Norman Boisse he shows up to teach one of my pharmacy classes!PHARMSECT 2007-04-26 17:23:10 +0000 UTC
He speeds through large amounts of information and acts really annoyed if anyone asks for clarification...i was scared out of my mind to miss a class and i got picked to do the powerpoint presentation at the end of the semester and was so scared i cried afterwardsPHARM 2006-01-10 11:46:51 +0000 UTC
This guy is very intense, at times too intense. He goes through a lot of information in class way too fast. He has a hard time answering students questions. To sum it up, a very strange manPSCU340 2005-10-05 10:52:58 +0000 UTC
Absolutely awful teacher - he is so rude to students when they ask clarifying questions, his tests and quizzes do not line up with what he is always saying in class, and he's just an overall bad teacher. ONLY perk is that he posts his lectures on Tegrity.PHSC4340 2015-07-16 11:33:32 +0000 UTC
Dr. Boisse started teaching the class talked very fast and seemed unapproachable but after the first few lecture i think he got feedback from us and he got MUCH BETTER! He slowed down and explained the material much better. Less words were on his slides and it was less confusing. Gave practice questions before the test. Test still wordy & hardPHSC4502 2015-08-14 19:04:51 +0000 UTC
I was afraid to raise my hand and ask a question if I didn't understand the material because he would yell at people, which is a shame because he's a really smart man. He records his lectures though which is nice...PHSC4340 2014-12-18 19:10:03 +0000 UTC
