Challenging class but really worth it. You will learn tons if you put in effort.AFAM1101 2011-09-19 13:14:16 +0000 UTC
She's a force. Assigns work that is not important to a students college career, or their general knowledge. If you have the opportunity to NOT have her as a teacher, take it.EDU 2010-05-07 00:34:42 +0000 UTC
She's a decent teacher but the class is awful. The amount of reading assigned is impossible to complete, the final assignment is long and time consuming. Only good thing about the class is you get a cheat sheet for the mid termAFAM1109 2009-12-03 08:37:33 +0000 UTC
She is helpful just as long as you put the effort in. If she realizes that you're not putting in any work, you will be out of luck. Basically, just do the work, and you will get at least a B.FSEM1104 2009-12-02 16:16:12 +0000 UTC

Worst teacher @ NU. A 20 page paper w/ field work is required for this 100-level class. Ridiculous! Classtime = watch films & students present reading summaries (the amount of reading she assigns is actually impossible to do). Extremely hard & unfair grader. Loved the class the first week. Now I regret ever signing up.AFRU109 2008-11-26 20:33:52 +0000 UTC
Wants to make students sweat for the fun of it. Cares but gives a lot of work for the fun of it. Class participation is important. Shady grader. What she tinks you deserve is what she gives you, not what you earned. I would not take her.AFAM1101 2010-05-10 21:34:46 +0000 UTC
