I took Youly's INTL 1101 course online. She is so so so so nice and caring. You're going to have to read a lot, watch her lectures, and write papers. Her class can be boring at times, but also very interesting. It depends on the student's personal interest. Great professor. Super chill. 100% recommend. Homework is very manageable. Exams are easy if you focus in class. She's a great person, cares about her students and I found her lectures to be pretty interesting. Class structure is super weird - 3 essays, 7 pages all about the exact same topic. She is always inviting people to utilize office hours and frequently offers opportunities for students to expand their learning beyond the classroom. A really kind professor, an easy grader, and flexible with extensions or anything you have going on outside of class. I wouldn't say that I learned much in the class but I don't think there is much more to learn in IAF after foundational courses so I don't think that is her fault. Definitely an easy grader and the class is easy to pass if you pay slight attention and study a bit for the midterm and final. Her lectures are incredibly boring and she forces students to take handwritten notes but a lot of it is common sense. This professor is super nice and invested. The class consisted in a semester-long group project. It wasn't an easy one but very rewarding when you got it right. I took her as an elective and this class was great. I learned alot tbh. She is flexible on zoom. To be honest easy A ,study lecture slides and you will be fine for the exams .
