I took Youly's INTL 1101 course online. She is so so so so nice and caring. You're going to have to read a lot, watch her lectures, and write papers. Her class can be boring at times, but also very interesting. It depends on the student's personal interest. She's a great person, cares about her students and I found her lectures to be pretty interesting. Class structure is super weird - 3 essays, 7 pages all about the exact same topic. She is always inviting people to utilize office hours and frequently offers opportunities for students to expand their learning beyond the classroom. A really kind professor, an easy grader, and flexible with extensions or anything you have going on outside of class. I wouldn't say that I learned much in the class but I don't think there is much more to learn in IAF after foundational courses so I don't think that is her fault. Definitely an easy grader and the class is easy to pass if you pay slight attention and study a bit for the midterm and final. Her lectures are incredibly boring and she forces students to take handwritten notes but a lot of it is common sense. This professor is super nice and invested. The class consisted in a semester-long group project. It wasn't an easy one but very rewarding when you got it right. I took her as an elective and this class was great. I learned alot tbh. She is flexible on zoom. To be honest easy A ,study lecture slides and you will be fine for the exams . Took her intl conflict & negotiation class, honestly loved it!! Lectures might not be the most interesting if you aren't invested in the topic, but she's the sweetest and most caring lady! She is an incredibly kind and understanding professor. I enjoyed her class a lot, even though it did get a bit dry sometimes. I really liked that she brought in many guest speakers who had amazing stories to tell. If you put in the work, it's an easy A. Many discussion boards, midterm and final, and a few papers.
