This is my second course with Dr. Alomari.He designed the LLMOps class and gave us a full textbook that he made and all the slides. He is always prepared and supportive. I also took CSYE 6225 with him. We had weekly project updates with others in class asking questions. Was excellent experience. I took DAMG7245 with Professor Alomari. It is heavy on AWS Glue and Sagemaker. Many hands-on labs and a lot of practice. Almost half of each class is practice. Provides us with options for projects and extra credit. His expectations are a little high. He prepared all material and did a fantastic job. The course (big data analytics) was very intense. Too many assignments including labs from three courses of AWS Academy. As long as you do you assignments each week, it is manageable. I just completed CSYE6225 with Professor Alomari. First, this course is a must have with him. He mixes the course between knowledge and practice. I never expected I will be able to use cloud resources this fast and with the breadth of services we learned.He also gave us access to his company private cloud software. I took DAMG 7245 with Dr. Alomari. We just took our final exam. It was really a tough course but useful. Over 15 assignments. some on AWS academy. some on Glue and Sagemaker. I worked really hard. I took cloud computing course with Professor Alomari based on recommendations and I definitely recommend this course. This course has both lectures and hands-on. Almost each class was half dedicated for hands-on. Labs and assignments are heavy but definite worth it. I learned a LOT. HWs are demanding but very useful. He also keeps taking survey and adjust things based on the feedback. Always share the feedback with all of us. Never seen a professor so well organized and knowledgeable. Had no experience cloud and after I took this class, I feel I learned a lot. Professor Alomari is supper efficient. Very well organized. prepares own slides. He also took feedback using google forms multiple times and adjusted based on our feedback. I registsred another course with him next semester. By far the best. I took cloud computing with Professor Alomari in Silicon Valley campus. His passion really shows. Second half of each lecture is hands-on work. I took the cloud computing course CSYE6225 with Professor Alomari, and he was outstanding. His passion for the subject really shows. He prepared his own slides and did hands-on demos every week.
