What I like the most is all assignments and projects in his courses has clear and detailed specification. If you found something vague, you can always ask for clarification. Well, it might be hard for someone to take his class. As he teaches at a relatively high level. I mean it is not a kind of step-by-step class but a class which supposes you have some background. Robin is a very gentle and kind professor. In his class, you can learn about how to solve problems in an intuitive way and analyze code in aspects of time and space. This class is designed to take an engineering approach to algorithm rather than a scientific one. The class has regular assignments and weekly quizzes. The professor focuses on solving algorithm problems for real-world applications & writing production grade Java Generic code. Robin is a very nice man and an excellent professor. Actually the other review was mean and I don't think that was fair. About style of teaching, some people like it some people don't, those words were too harsh. Also, about the Princeton slide, professor has his own works on it. Well, Robin is a good person, he is very kind and willing to help others. However, His teach ability is awful. I took his Algorithm class. He uses Princeton Slides and hardly changes.
