Andy is a great guy and will answer any and all questions you have in class and office hours. Andy saved my math life. I had struggled with math in high school, and when I found out I had to take it in college, I was horrified. Now I reflect on my Calc1 experience as one of my best at NU. Great teacher, very approachable and friendly. Tries to make sure students understand everything, answers all questions and never seems impatient or unfair. Personally emails students if their grades are low to ask how he can help and to encourage them. Book doesn't follow with syllabus, and I only used it to do practice problems.
