Abbie is a chiller, she makes the class very easy to get an A in if you follow basic steps. The class itself is 90% discussion based. It can be as fun as you want. If you have to take ENGW1111, take it was Abbie, she knows what she's talking about, makes class fun, you get something out of it, all while getting an A. She has a welcoming personality and is a good teacher. All her assignments were interesting and engaging. She gave critical and encouraging feedback and pushed students to their limits. She assigns reading most weeks and it can get a bit much. In some classes, her lectures went on for a long while. Abbie is an amazing teacher and she will make you excited to learn. I am a CS major and had to take an english course as a requirement, and it quickly became my favorite class. That should tell you enough about her as a teacher. She cares a lot about her students and wants to hear you participate, but it's not necessary.
