Trust me. Run as fast as you can, otherwise he will be a nightmare for your entire study timeCS5002 2025-05-17 07:00:39 +0000 UTC
Monge's a smart man in database design. He gives constructive feedback on (most) assignments and seems to truly prioritize making students understand the why, essential qualities of any amazing professor. However, his ego makes him pretty damn insufferable. This, combined with mediocre teaching and high strictness, rid all fun from the class.cs3200 2025-05-02 22:51:16 +0000 UTC
A horrible professor and person overall. He is difficult to work with and has a very high ego. Do not take him. He is incredibly rude and oversteps frequently. Many students feel uncomfortable talking to him. He also doesn't know how to teach Discrete Structures and seems more confused than I am on the subject as a student.CS5002 2025-04-01 22:59:32 +0000 UTC
run!!!! ASAPcs3200 2025-04-30 22:20:03 +0000 UTC
He's simply the worst I've ever dealt with. Lectures were unhelpful to relate to questions on exams. Unhelpful and unclear with questions because he is not a subject expert in discrete math. No concern about progress of class while 2/3 class failed the midterm. He's unreasonable, does not grade fairly even if it's not your fault if he dislikes you.CS5002 2021-12-19 03:58:43 +0000 UTC
extremely unclear about grading expectations on any assignment, doesnt teach content representatively compared to what actually shows up on exams, grading is very harsh, high ego, expects students to fill in the numerous gaps that he just chooses not to explain, do not take his classes. wait to take them with a diff profcs3200 2025-04-14 19:50:07 +0000 UTC
