I loved Amal! She was super passionate about the material. Her lectures did get a little boring near the end of the semester, but that was more of me being burnt out. As mentioned by the other reviewers, it's not required to go to lectures, but if you choose to skip on lectures, you'll need to read the textbook. I never touched the textbook and entirely went to lectures. The homework is tough but doable and very rewarding.
