Really confusing in lectures, but makes herself available for one on one meetings which effectively amount to tutoring. Her class is more difficult than other Mathematical Thinking sections, but she's a better teacher than most others in this subject at the school. I used to hate math (calc, algebra etc) but this professor has made me LOVE this class. Barbara is, first and foremost, always always always willing to answer questions if you're confused in class which really helps. Also, she's very italian and HILARIOUS. Our class is always laughing. If you wanna actually learn math don't take this class with her, if you wanna slack and maybe come out with a B or C, then take it. Trust me. I really like this class. The teacher is super nice ans she really helpfull. Classes are not mandory and it's really easy if you do the homework (not graded) to have good grades. You have a little quiz every week but really easy.MATH1215 2014-02-14 11:24:18 +0000 UTC
This class you either understand it right away or you don't. Unfortunately I was struggling. She doesn't know what she is talking about, she has many excuses for giving students the wrong answers while trying to teach because class starts at 9:15AM and she isn't a "morning" person.
