Professor Fuchs genuinely cares for her students and wants them to learn. Her class does involve a lot of homework, but the tests are all online. She is understanding if you turn in things late as long as you show effort. I thought her teaching style was really effective and helpful.GRMN2102 2025-12-15 16:54:08 +0000 UTC
One of the kindest Professors. I took intro to German just for fun and she was the best. There is a lot of homework but she is understanding with late assignments. There are pop quizzes but they are just to check your understanding and don't effect your grade, and quizzes are take home with three tries. She just wants you to learn the language.GRMN1102 2023-12-23 17:29:05 +0000 UTC
Frau Fuchs is clearly educated about the best method of foreign language learning--half the class consists of a virtual exchange with students in Heidelberg, Germany. However, she gives very limited and unhelpful feedback on assignments. Her attendance policy is incredibly strict, miss two classes and automatically fail the course.GRMN2101 2018-11-23 19:49:27 +0000 UTC
the group project towards the end of the class left a lot to be desired, but that's largely because of who I was paired with. she's relatively strict although does allow the homework to be turned in late with minimal penalty, which is helpful because there's something due 4/5 days of the work week.GRMN2102 2024-11-20 20:34:45 +0000 UTC
I had Frau Fuchs for both elementary classes, and I'm glad I did. The class was well-structured- lots of opportunities to get practice talking, reading, writing, and listening. She herself is a good teacher, and takes care to convey the content clearly.GRMN1102 2021-04-15 20:16:30 +0000 UTC
amazing prof that really cares about your german learning, all homework is completion and she gives adequate feedback on to help you learn, you have three attempts for quizzes, which aren't that difficult, overall an amazing prof who really cares for her students and their learningGRMN2102 2024-04-30 22:59:40 +0000 UTC
The classes are well structured and she clearly likes teaching. There are a lot of homework assignments but they're easy enough. Half of the classes are spend on zoom with elders in Germany which was boring most of the time. She also is a very easy grader, it's okay if you submit things late as she grades completion.GRMN2102 2023-12-02 03:24:55 +0000 UTC
