Honestly, you have to put in a baseline of effort, but Threat all but hands the class to you on a silver platter and just asks you to try. The assigned books were her attempt to make history interesting (and somewhat succeeded) and her exams were exactly what was on the giant exam study sheet she posts at the beginning of the semester.HIST1130 2013-03-22 00:36:46 +0000 UTC
Don't do it...just don't. I took her Women's history class as an elective my senior year thinking it would be easy..NOT SO MUCH. She has favorites and if you're not one she'll make you feel stupid when answering a question. The grade was based on 2 exams and a paper. All three items were impossible to get any higher than a B, even after meetingHIST2242 2011-07-12 08:46:29 +0000 UTC
Not a fun class. All lecture notes, and powerpoints that never align with what she's saying. I had to take it as a Journalism major, but if you don't like taking notes or studying/memorizing your butt off you might want to avoid this one. Interesting subject though!HIST1130 2012-03-24 12:45:08 +0000 UTC
