(i took engw 1114 but it wasn't a reviewable option.) super kind professor. if you overslept and missed lecture 3-4 times she'll be chill about it just dont do it too often. as long as you're following the rubric and not chatgpt-ing everything you'll get an A. my volunteer org ghosted us and she genuinely let me slander them for my final project.ENGW1111 2025-12-16 04:53:37 +0000 UTC
I took advanced writing online with her while on co-op and it was easier than I thought. Do the assignments and you will be fine. She gives feedback and ample time to adjust your pieces to meet her feedback. She has specific things she is looking for and they are outlined in the rubric and syllabus.ENGW3302 2025-04-27 13:44:58 +0000 UTC
Very caring professor and gave us a lot of good feedback for each paper. Grades pretty generously if you put in the effort. Would recommend for first year writing.ENG1111 2024-04-25 23:49:44 +0000 UTC
Enos is very passionate about teaching this course. She's funny and likes to create real connections with her students. However, her grading criteria is a little all over the place, so even if your writing is good you might not get a good grade - depends if you fit her style. Send your drafts to her before the finals are due!ENGW3304 2017-12-09 18:36:07 +0000 UTC
she is a very kind professor, she helps me a lot, but attendance is very important,be careful. it's not very hard ,you can take itENGL1101 2012-09-08 01:37:45 +0000 UTC
Christen's the only teacher I've had so far where I feel she really puts time into everyone's essays. As a comedy writing teacher, she gives really detailed analysis of your rough drafts, and really wants to help you write better. You get out what you put in, but the more your participate and are thoughtful, the more she'll appreciate your writingENG111 2007-12-01 11:03:03 +0000 UTC
She's very understandable!ENG101 2006-04-03 16:57:45 +0000 UTC
Very unprofessional and rude. The content was fine and course work was very manageable, but it was her attitude that should keep you away. She was condescending and as the other ratings claimed, very biased (which of course she would apply to her grading and "feedback"). Don't take her class. You won't be able to tolerate her snarky comments.ENGW1111 2025-03-31 14:58:20 +0000 UTC
stay far away from this professor for advanced writing, grades based on style and is quite rude. her feedback really is something, completely useless. once you take her feedback and revise based on it, she changes her mind when grading. there's no way she isnt trollingENGW3302 2024-11-05 19:58:55 +0000 UTC
A very understanding teacher! I would definitely take this class again with her.ENG1111 2022-01-10 23:17:11 +0000 UTC
A really nice person, but I didn't learn anything from her.ENG111 2007-11-15 21:01:43 +0000 UTC
professor enos was a very excited professor and showed enthusiasm in all classes. There were lots of assignments but they made sense and were striaghtforward not complicated works. During class we had good discussions but at times it felt like we could have finished class alot earlier. slightly a harsh grader but gives lots of feedback to improve.ENGW1111 2024-11-27 07:29:09 +0000 UTC
Advanced writing classes do 3 essays at most and this one does 4. The teacher seems super passionate to a fault. She made us build up to a large research paper that won't be seen elsewhere. If your writing doesn't fit her style, she takes points off because she doesn't bother understanding your writing. Somehow takes points off for everyone.ENGW3302 2024-10-30 13:40:33 +0000 UTC
Professor Enos is extremely fair. She gives you a lot of feedback on your rough drafts which almost guarantees you an A if you spend enough time on your essays. She also lets you pick a topic you are passionate about for the entire sesmter!ENG1111 2021-05-03 20:29:35 +0000 UTC
She's likeable and very helpful. The comedy writing class makes the freshman writing requirement a little less painful, but doing so many essays is a major drag.ENG111 2007-02-28 01:08:40 +0000 UTC
