If you don't want to have an enjoyable summer take this course with Prof Featherman. Way too much work for the course it is. 2000 word essay due every 2 weeks with various other time-consuming assignments due every day of the week. At first he seems like a nice teacher, and it will be a good class. You soon learn how close minded and limited the projects are. You get almost no choice for any of the projects. He takes student feedback terribly, and has very opinionated based participation grade. He is a really good, enthusiastic English professor. He loves to teach and is very good at it. The class itself was relatively easy, the difficulty was in the amount of papers. The papers are tough and graded pretty strictly, but fairly.
