Attend every lecture, please. The lectures have a lot of information and he does a great time explaining it deeply during class instruction. Midterm and final are alright (no practice exams for both), but he does post a study guide on Piazza (if you write and memorize all of those information, you should be fine). Hws/projects are heavy.CS4700 2026-04-21 17:48:33 +0000 UTC
Worst class I have taken in CS. On Piazza replies to peoples questions with sarcasm. If you run into a bug on a project, the TA and HIM will not give you help. I went from an A to D+ in two projects because I ran into one bug at the start, and they would not help me in office hours. It was partner work. The homework ramp up as projects get worseCS3700 2023-10-25 15:38:22 +0000 UTC
CS 2550 ,ok he is a great professor, a funny professor, but for this class I dont recommend you (if you are not a cs major or you are a minor cs) to take class CS2550, its cybersecurity . that means you are doing things like a hacker. i took this class when it just opened to students. 4 projects 2 papers (2000 words) 5 pop quiz, 2 examsCS2550 2018-04-16 15:19:42 +0000 UTC
I loved Christos lectures. They were some of the best lectures I have attended at Northeastern as a CS Student. His slides are definitely tailored to in person but are still usable and provided for use at home. Homeworks were generally quick but the projects definitely took some time. Probably the most I have ever actually learned from a course.CS4700 2026-04-20 22:26:55 +0000 UTC
Christo is the GOAT. His lecturing skills far exceed most other professors, even after he taught the same thing three times that day. He is very helpful, answers your questions, and is fairly active on Piazza. Christo is definitely passionate about networks and it shows in lecture. Highly recommend his classCS3700 2022-12-03 19:41:49 +0000 UTC
One of my favorite professors. Difficult course, even if you do well in it, but you learn a ton and have fun doing it.CS3700 2016-12-29 18:04:22 +0000 UTC
Networks with Christo is one of the coolest classes I've ever taken. His projects are fun to do (be prepared to work hard though!), the lectures are engaging, and he explains things well. I'd take this class again in a heartbeat if I could.CS3700 2016-11-03 21:04:19 +0000 UTC
He's clearly one of the most inspiring professors I've ever met in Northeastern. His lecture is well-prepared with details, and you can download the slides as well. You can ask tons of questions on piazza and he will reply you with a lot of information in that. Lots of work to do in his class, but if you work hard, it will pay off.CS3700 2016-02-12 14:56:58 +0000 UTC
