Dan provides time for students to ask questions in class, and is always willing to go over examples and content again. The lectures are great, but there are sometimes mistakes in the online lecture notes, so make sure you ask questions if confused. He's funny and understanding. Make sure you study for the weekly quizzes - the points add up!MATH1251 2020-08-15 21:25:08 +0000 UTC
Powerful, clear lectures. Has a great classroom presence and really cares about the material he teaches. Be sure to take notes on the example proofs in class, those are almost exactly the questions on the exams. No real need for the textbook other than for homework.CS1365 2019-11-29 03:37:52 +0000 UTC
Incredible lecturer - you can tell he really cares about the material, and he presents it very clearly. He's also super willing to work with you in office hours (he explained something I didn't get in different ways until I understood it.) The textbook is only used for homework problems. The class itself isn't terribly hard, but Dan makes it easierMATH1365 2019-11-15 03:20:03 +0000 UTC
Prof. Ehrmann gives some of the most understandable lectures I've had here at Northeastern. He breaks concepts down and makes them extremely understandable and uses memorable examples. I would highly recommend him as a professor. If you're worried about grades, he's not very difficult if at all. Just make sure to do some practice problems.MATH1251 2020-03-11 19:27:40 +0000 UTC
