He is one of the best math professors/teachers I've ever had. He is super nice and is always available after class. He really wants you to succeed and he will help you do so. He's amazing at getting the class engaged and does his best to reach everyone. The homework can be challenging, but it's really manageable if you're willing to work for it.MATH2410 2020-04-06 14:28:16 +0000 UTC
Took him at UML for Calc I. He's a great guy and wants all of his students to succeed. The only complaint I have is there was little lecturing; it was mostly self-teaching. When he did lecture, however, he explained things very well. For calc I, his teaching method is fine because the subject is easy. Overall, not an easy A but you'll learn a lot.MATH1410 2020-01-08 18:50:19 +0000 UTC
This class is going to be tough regardless of the professor. Weekly homework was often longer than it needed to be, but Daniel is a very understanding professor who genuinely just wants students to learn the material. He's always willing to help during office hours as well. Highly recommend if you're willing to put in the work.MATH2321 2019-04-26 13:36:37 +0000 UTC
I agree with many of the other reviews that Professor Glasscock gives lot of homework and it can take 6-10 hours to complete every week. However, the homework is not repetitive, it really forces you to learn the material as you do it. I recommend taking this professor if are prepared to dedicate at least 6 hours each week to math homework.MATH2321 2019-02-27 00:01:16 +0000 UTC
Prof. Glasscock understands calculus 3 very well and gives a solid conceptual understanding of the topic. By far my favorite math prof. However, he is a very hard professor, and his homeworks are monsters. Take his class if you want a challenge and want to actually understand 2321. No easy A's. Not for the faint of heart.MATH2321 2018-05-10 01:17:05 +0000 UTC
Very intelligent individual, nice enough guy, however time taken on homework made focusing on learning the material near impossible.MATH2321 2018-01-12 10:35:55 +0000 UTC
Long homework that takes quite a few hours to complete. Exams are pretty tough!MATH2321 2017-11-18 18:58:02 +0000 UTC
Long homework assignments. No Quizzes but homework assigned every week which are about 2 pages long and take up to 10 pages of work. Midterms are long, tough, and take up the whole time. The professor is caring and tries his best to explain topics and is available outside of class but expects a lot from you!MATH2321 2017-11-09 16:10:20 +0000 UTC
