He's a good professor overall but if you are an international student I wouldn't recommend taking classes with him. His instruction papers made no sense and he has a poorly English so he wouldn't be able to explain you the assignments in another contextARTG2250 2024-09-16 19:22:10 +0000 UTC
Daryl is an awesome professor. He gives very helpful feedback and really helps you grow as a designer, no matter how much experience you have. He assigns unique but helpful projects and you never have to worry about busywork. I would highly suggest taking a class with him.ARTG2252 2020-11-18 16:07:20 +0000 UTC
I truly loved Daryl so much. He inspired me so much when designing outside of class. The assignments he gives all build up and really help you to become a better designer. Daryl is the most positive and uplifting professor I've ever had. He is very helpful with critiques and overall was super fun to have.ARTG2250 2021-04-27 19:09:58 +0000 UTC
Daryl is a caring and easy-going professor. He knows a lot about design/type and is always excited to teach. Do some great work, put the time in, and he will praise you. Sometimes I felt like he didn't give enough critique or constructive criticism for designs, he will tend to focus on what is working rather than what isn't.ARTG2250 2020-11-19 08:15:18 +0000 UTC
