Prof David is very passionate about Networking, the second half of his lectures are gold mines and will make you love networking, he gave some opportunity for extra credits and he is very accommodating, but project 3/4 needs infrastructure help from college, I really loved his classes, although i messed my finals still ended in decent gradesCS5700 2022-12-21 20:45:02 +0000 UTC
Class isn't too bad if you are willing to put in the work. Start the group projects early because they count for the majority of the grade. You get a notesheet for the exams which is very helpful. Don't skip lecture, he crams 2 lectures worth of info into each powerpoint. Textbook is not required but I found it very helpful (free online).CS3700 2017-12-19 11:30:30 +0000 UTC
Professor Choffnes is a great guy, very knowledgable and passionate about the material. His classes are tough but he tries to help his students learn and is a fair grader. David is a nice guy! He knows a lot in his field and is always enthusiastic in class. As long as you fulfill the requirement (code run and get the result) you get whole grade. However the extra credit is challenging. Each assignment takes 1-2 days to finish(3-4 day if you do not familiar with tools) therefore the load is fair.CS5700 2022-03-30 01:56:16 +0000 UTC
