Dennis may be a nice person, but clearly the worst teacher I've ever had in my life. His lectures are dry & lack clear content. He doesn't have any lecture slides or reading material. Lectures were mainly live coding from start to end without explanation of theory or concepts behind the code. I didn't learn from his class, but only by self-study.CS5004 2019-08-22 06:04:43 +0000 UTC
Despite being a nice guy, Dennis has no idea how to teach. The class has been taught by other instructors and a general lecture baseline created around theory. Instead of following the theory lectures, each class was him live-coding the topic. The lectures were worthless. Thankfully the concepts were simple and homework was not too challenging.CS5004 2019-07-30 02:24:40 +0000 UTC
