Class is easy and tests are online. The professor is clearly passionate about teaching, but lectures can be hard to follow and often feel more like him talking through ideas. The term project shows up late in the semester but is manageable and not too difficult.MGSC2301 2025-12-27 18:40:53 +0000 UTC
Dimitrios was not an effective instructor in my experience, and often seemed more confident in his teaching than his delivery supported. The homework was easy, but the written portion of the exams was difficult and bad. Lectures were difficult to follow, and the classroom environment did not feel welcoming overall, a disappointing experience.MGSC1231 2025-12-18 22:14:30 +0000 UTC
He really cannot teach. If you want to learn stats AVOID because trust you won't learn a thing. If you want easy A and online tests, final, and projects, this is the class for you.MGSC1201 2025-04-17 01:22:04 +0000 UTC
There is too much workload for one class! Long homework assignments. Quizzes every week. Exams are impossible. Extremely irrelevant to what we learned in class and 10x more difficult. Almost everyone in the class failed before the curve. You need to really understand everything in depth, but there is just too much to learn that its overwhelming.MISM3515 2019-04-23 02:02:34 +0000 UTC
Very had to understand, he means well and wants his students to succeed, however his exams are really difficult. He gives a lot of homework that you need to pass in but you are also given the answers. good luck.MGSC6200 2016-11-02 20:28:28 +0000 UTC
His tests are the exact same as the practice quizzes online (different numbers), so as long as you study those you will be fine. Lectures can be confusing, but again you don't really even need them as long as you study the practice quizzes.MATH2280 2013-10-20 20:24:35 +0000 UTC
I took Dimitrios for statistics in my freshman year. I usually do very well in school but this class was (NO EXAGGERATION) the most difficult class i have ever taken. The students with other statistics teachers said the course was a breeze. Please dont make the same mistake i did. AVOID THIS CLASS. ps the class avg on the last test was a 45MGSC12O1 2011-04-01 14:04:37 +0000 UTC
Didn't understand anything from lectures, self-study but it's easyMGSC2301 2025-12-17 01:00:30 +0000 UTC
Dimitrios is passionate about teaching; however, he is truly an awful professor. His lectures are just him rambling on to himself without actually teaching us the material and they're impossible to follow along with. Also, he's awful with Canvas and the quizzes are difficult to actually do good on. Plus, he refuses to curve or give extra credit.MGSC1231 2025-04-20 19:30:21 +0000 UTC
One of the best courses I've taken at Northeastern. Dimitrios clearly loves teaching stats and puts a lot of effort into teaching every day. Very clear syllabus and he is very understanding. Best professor for business stats.MGSC1201 2022-04-14 01:12:53 +0000 UTC
Too many documents and readings on the BlackBoard. Very disorganized, good luck finding what you want because you'll have to dig through a million links and even the pdfs are images, so you can't search for keywords. Quizzes Every Week. Some say read the textbook to do well on quizzes, others say look at his articles.. I say read EVERYTHING..!! BadMISM3515 2019-04-11 00:21:56 +0000 UTC
Worst teacher I've hadMGSC2301 2025-12-13 01:52:24 +0000 UTC
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. 90% of your grade is dependent on your tests and the class material does NOT match what he teaches in lecture. His Canvas is unorganized and it's super difficult to find anything. He made our attendance mandatory 8 weeks into the semester and made it that if you miss on class, your grade drops an entire letter grade.MGSC1231 2024-10-31 15:48:16 +0000 UTC
The absolute man. Is very funny and also passionate about stats. Take this class if you want a good and easy class. Love this guy.MGSC1201 2022-04-13 19:00:21 +0000 UTC
Excellent professor. I would recommend him to anyone who is willing to put in a lot of work and doesn't mind getting frustrated. He cares a lot about his students and wants them to succeed in life. There are a lot of quizzes based on the textbook readings, but they help you to understand the material better.MISM3515 2017-09-05 16:22:46 +0000 UTC
