A good teacher, passionate about math, but not teaching.MATH1365 2023-05-20 22:43:04 +0000 UTC
He gave us quizzes that were intended for us to fail. We would ask for examples of how concepts would be applied on the quizzes, and he would scold us for asking, and refuse to give examples. One time, to spite us, he decided not to write on the board the entire class and described a 3D graph to us, using only his hands. So yeah.MATH1331 2015-03-24 16:54:53 +0000 UTC
Pretty good at explaining the larger concepts behind the math and connecting it to real world applications. It was Calculus 3, so it was still a fairly difficulttough class. Grading is fair. Quiz problems were usually based on text book examples, but tests were hard. Had extra study sessions before final. Generally good teacher.2340 2014-12-17 00:13:01 +0000 UTC
Dylan is a good professor. He is a very good Mathematician and obviously loves Math. His lectures are generally clear and he is very helpful during office hours. That said, he isn't necessarily easy! Quizzes and assignments do tend to be pretty rough once in a while and he sets high standards of high grading. Overall, a great teacher!MATH1365 2013-12-10 23:36:35 +0000 UTC
