Super chill. There for you. Is older and makes a few mistakes, but always in good spirit. Answers questions, there at office hours, a super chiller. He laughs and smiles and teaches well. I recommend A++, go to class, study, you'll ace it.MATH1341 2015-11-05 14:01:22 +0000 UTC
Prof. Shulte is a decent math teacher. He is good at introducing new topics by connecting them to things you already know. He is pretty clear, and answers questions just fine.MATH1342 2013-11-18 20:44:47 +0000 UTC
Egon is the best man in the world. I HATE Calculus but he is so nice and helpful and funny. Definitely make use of his office hours.CALC1241 2012-04-26 23:54:35 +0000 UTC
GREAT professor. Little bit of an accent, probably german. SMARTEST professor I have had at NU in terms of knowledge and ability to teach. HW is easy, 3 or 4 problems per class. takes about 15 minutes. 4 hourly tests that are just like the HW. Fair grader. All around great guyMTH430 2008-12-11 16:58:22 +0000 UTC
Good guy, good math teacher. If you've taken any calc before this is a very easy class, otherwise be prepared to use your book alot because he isn't always the clearest. Two tests, quiz every thursday, no hw. buy class pakCALC1 2008-03-30 22:12:09 +0000 UTC
generally good guy who wants you to learn. beware however that tests are much harder than the quizzes. buying the class pak is very beneficial, it contains past tests and quizzes which are almost identical to the tests you will take.MTHU141 2007-01-03 18:18:59 +0000 UTC
Total airhead. Clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. Answers questions by digressing off onto completely unrelated topics. Shows no signs of even knowing so much as a single thing about his subject. Avoid.MTHU575 2004-11-29 12:53:59 +0000 UTC
too hard and not clear but willing to helpGT 2004-08-18 10:14:54 +0000 UTC
AWESOME PROFESSOR!!! I've had him for this and Calc 2, very clear, very fair in grading and very knowledgable. If you have the opportunity to take this class, TAKE IT. GREAT TEACHER.MTHU341 2003-12-21 22:58:30 +0000 UTC
If you have trouble with a problem, definitely ask, because he will answer it and go through the problem, which is really helpful for math. Although the homework isn't required, it's better to do it so you know what's going on in class, because he goes over questions people have on it. He's helpful, just make the effort.MATH1341 2015-02-02 22:43:02 +0000 UTC
Extremely good math professor. Knows the subject, but most importantly he is able to convey the concepts well to the students. I wish he taught all math classes! Tests are exactly like the homework, so make sure to do the homework. Attendance not mandatory.MTH430 2008-12-11 14:28:22 +0000 UTC
He is very clear, and very consistent. He always asks if we have any questions, he goes over homework, and his tests are extremely representative of the material he teaches. Very knowledgeable guy, knows the subject very well. I would definitely take a class with him again and I recommend him.MTH430 2008-10-16 22:50:55 +0000 UTC
