Moreno is very sweet/innocent, personality-wise, and puts a lot of effort into his class. He's a very fair grader (grade weight is divided fairly across assignments). Go to class, read txtbook. Good explanations and in-depth lectures with well-explained practice problems. Do the homework and you'll be fine. Difficult class but his lectures make it easier. I had Professor Moreno for Physics 1 freshman year. He is super nice and values your learning. Do the homework and study for ILS quizzes, you should be fine. He gives at least 4 practice exams to study from before a midterm or final, the test is always similar to those (no surprises). I would avoid this prof if you can. He is a nice guy, but I can't say I learned anything from him. I genuinely learned the most from the TA and teaching myself. I found there was little overlap between class examples, quiz problems, and homework problems. I never felt prepared. His tests aren't hard, but he's a terrible test writer and a patronizing and an awfully arrogant professor who won't admit that he's wrong when he is. His lectures are also extremely unhelpful. Moreno is an awesome teacher. I needed a lot of extra help, and he was always happy to explain anything in detail outside of lecture.
