I took ENGW3302. My favorite English class I've taken at Northeastern. We used Discord as the homepage which made discussions feel a lot more fluid. Homework was atypical of an English class, no traditional essays. There were 3 group projects that were a majority of your grade. They were not difficult and rather interesting. I really hate writing, but I honestly had a great time in Eric's class. I took ENGW3302 35000 Advanced Writing in Tech Prof with him asynchronously. He's an understanding guy and super friendly. Eric's the Man! Very down to earth guy who just wants his students to enjoy writing and learn through their enjoyment. The whole class was very relaxed and he gives you so much freedom for creativity. You will do a fair bit of writing but it's not through essays, it's through blog posts and letters mostly. Eric is easily my favorite English teacher I've ever had. The class does have a writing aspect to it, but whether your writing is incredible or could use a ton of work, you will really benefit from his course.
