I took this class as part of my writing requirement coming in as a freshman, so if you have the chance do NOT take a class with her. Thoughts are very disorganized, attendance is mandatory and she makes you buy way to many books than you'll actually use. I would never take a class with her again. Making the mistake the firs time was bad enough. So many papers, self-absorbed, hard to reach her about work and caught up in random global events that have nothing to do with the class. Beware human rights and coffee!
