FYI: The low ratings on here are from the few students who failed the class and won't be of use to you. Info you want --> There are 4 exams (25% each) and weekly HW is purely for practice. don't take his classes please!! I wish he cared more about getting his student preparing for his EXTREMELY hard exams then just using a bunch of videos from many years ago. The concepts are exciting but I can't say I've walked out of his class learning anything. CS3000, online algo class. I'm not sure how lecture videos from 2016 are supposed to prepare me for the hardest exams I have ever taken. Your notes will not help in the slightest. intelligent guy but bad prof. recycles lecture recordings, kinda rude/discouraging, makes exams significantly harder than homework or lectures. Yes he recycles his lectures, I understand, but he constantly updates his lectures if needed, and he's very accessible to ask questions directly. Best asynchronous course I've taken, challenging but you learn a lot. Tests were creative focusing on actual learning not just "using" what you memorized.
