Prof Shan is really a good prof! Lecture is very easy to understand.MISM2301 2026-01-15 21:18:18 +0000 UTC
You can tell he really wants to be a good professor, always asking for feedback, listening to criticism and will adjust accordingly. He's really passionate about the subject, but since he's new to teaching lectures can be not the clearest sometimes. Get to know him, and you can tell how much he cares for his students. (Knowing Mandarin helps.)MISM2301 2025-11-20 09:53:51 +0000 UTC
Cons: harsh grader, (especially on case studies), difficult online exams (sometimes unclear, confusing, and with little time), accent heavy so it might hard to understand, mostly reading/explaining off from powerpoint with little class engagement. Pros: caring profesor, open to feedback, willing to help students outside of class, knowledgable.MISM2301 2025-06-18 18:34:02 +0000 UTC
Professor has to be my favorite I have ever taken in Northeastern. He cares about all of his students and makes a effort to get to know all of us. His accent may be a little hard to understand but he is extremely accommodating and willing to help anyone. All the exams and quizzes are take home and there are two group projects.MISM2301 2025-04-26 00:56:27 +0000 UTC
