Professor Halacheva was extremely caring! Her lectures were a bit hard to sit through but I mean it is math. The course is extremely test heavy but her homeworks aren't too bad. Proffesor Halacheva was awesome, you could tell she really cared about all of her students. Course was difficult for me but her office hours helped a lot and lectures were very informative. For a math class where all you are doing is writing is proofs, you want loads of examples. Iva teaches strictly through examples which makes learning multistep proofing techniques easy to pick up because there is so much repetition. Professor Halacheva is a godsend!! She's one of the best professors I've ever had at Northeastern. She made the content very easy to understand and provided many opportunities for help. Prof. Halacheva is clearly a very dedicated and caring professor. Notes, practice exercises, and other study materials are always posted online.
