I thought the class would be a drag, but the teacher is great. A little quiet at first, but she makes all students feel comfortable and is super respectful of opinions. Allows students to analyze work together and goes over hw. to make sure everyone understands. Open to interpretation and is very nice too. she was very plesant, helpful, and down to earth. Dr. Martin is pleasant and her classes are extremely intellectually stimulating. It really helped me make the transition from hs to college writing. Make sure you do the readings or you will die on the papers, which are very intellectually challenging to write. She is not good about returning emails.
