I thought his teaching style was very simple and concise and did just enough to effectively teach us all the topics without overcomplicating subjects.MATH2341 2025-11-21 20:14:06 +0000 UTC
Did not teach material on final. My grade dropped from 98% on his midterms to 64% on the final and I attended every class and every optional recitation. He grades his midterms nicely, but the final (40% of your grade) is different material from the rest of the course, and there is nothing you can do. Do not take him.MATH2341 2025-01-05 15:40:04 +0000 UTC
prof xu was not a good professor. there were at least 2 topics we never learned in class that were major portions of the final exam. he would jump around topics, mismatching the syllabus, so we never knew what we were supposed to know. the course content was easy, but had to be completely self taught. AVOID at all costsMATH2341 2024-12-12 21:04:58 +0000 UTC
